Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • For the Vegetables:
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas or snow peas
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
  • In a bowl, mix the sliced chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

  • In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and chicken broth or water. If you prefer a thicker sauce, dissolve the cornstarch in the broth before adding it.
