Beef Ramen Noodles Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (or other veggies like carrots or snap peas)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions (without the seasoning packets). Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Sauté the garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the bell pepper and broccoli (or other vegetables) to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, then add the cooked beef back to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes to coat everything in the sauce.
  6. Toss the cooked ramen noodles into the skillet and stir everything together until the noodles are fully coated and heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Tips:

  • You can adjust the spice level by adding more red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce and garlic for 15-20 minutes before cooking.

Enjoy your savory and satisfying beef ramen noodles!
